Hey! So what’s happening at YWAM Tbilisi?  A lot.

Dennis Holt, who leads the YWAM Tbilisi base along with his wife Korinne, has recently broken his leg!
You can contact them for more details, if you’d like.  But please remember to keep him in your prayers!  (You can also pray for his family and for the staff!  It affects us all very much!)

Dennis-leg

This last week we partnered with Operation Mobilization (OM) to host a 6-day conference on how to counsel people (specifically children) who have endured trauma, such as war.  The conference was very successful and we are already seeing fruit come out of it!  Today- many of the attendees from the first session met to plan an outreach to a group of refugees that we have found to be in a very needy situation.  They are planning to do children’s programs, and also would like to try to raise awareness about the needs of these people and maybe try to meet some of their needs.  So, please be praying about this opportunity, and also for all of the people who attended the conference, to have a chance to put this newfound knowledge into practice!  The conference lecturers came from the organization Care Corps International.

We are planning to start our next Discipleship Training School in March 2009.  And it’s time to start preparing!  If you are interested, we are looking for students and for experienced staff!  Please contact us for more information and/or see the applications page. If you’d like to know more about what Discipleship Training School (DTS) is, click here.

We are continually grateful for your support and prayers!
