Hello! We just wanted to let you know what’s happening here at YWAM Tbilisi. You, along with the rest of the world, know about the recent war with Russia. We are fine! We just happened to be in the middle of our first Summer Missions School when the war broke out. We stayed as long as we had initially planned to, and by the time the camp was finished, the war was technically over as well. We were in a small village about an hour outside of Tbilisi, called Ananuri.

The camp was very successful! We had 14 students from different churches, 10 staff (YWAM Tbilisi staff and also a DTS outreach team from Germany) and 3 kids. We had lectures on Biblical Worldview, Inductive Bible Study, Surrendering our Rights, Missions, Hearing the Voice of God & more. We did small outreaches in the village, picking up garbage and making an effort to build relationships with the villagers. We also visited the local Orthodox church on the Sunday we were there. God really did great things during those 10 days, and we are looking forward to seeing more in the future!

As far as the situation in Georgia, we are doing our best to do what we can. We’ve had one opportunity so far, to work with some refugee families. And we are continuing to look for more opportunities. We want to be used by God and are seeking His direction and leading in our service to the displaced. Please continue to pray for Georgia and the thousands of people who have been and will be affected by the war.

And thank you to all who have been concerned and who have been standing with us. We are very grateful!
